Trading Terms Sale or Return. We do not offer a sale or return. If you buy our clapperboards and they arrive in a satisfactory condition (fit for purpose) and you simply "changed your mind" we do not offer refunds. However, if you have bought online you have seven days starting from the day you received the board to cancel. This is in line with the consumer protection (distance selling) regulation 2000. In accordance with the act we MUST tell you who is responsible for the return postage costs and specify what method. But it must not be so expensive it would be cheaper for you to keep the order. If you have changed your mind about the clapperboard from the moment of purchase to the seven day cooling off period and you want to return it we ask that you notify us first then return it by registered mail. You MUST provide us with a tracking number. If you do not provide a tracking number you will not be refundeded. We use a third party shipping company BL LOGISTICS to pick, pack and handle all our orders. This company charges a fixed rate of £4 per order for returns. Please note this fee is per order, not per item. If you have multiple items you will only be charged once. Note we only refund the cost of the goods not outbound postage costs. SEND GOODS TO: Returns Department: 365-FILMS, 23 College Road, Hoddesdon, Herts EN119DF. You are responsible for the cost of returns including the cost of the tracking number. Damaged or Missing or Faulty items. If a clapperboard arrives damaged or missing some items please decide if you would like a refund or a replacement then let us know. On arrival you will have a reasonable time to reject a faulty item and claim a refund. We believe ten working days is reasonable time for starting from the day you received them. We will replace or exchange at our own cost. Please notify us by email or telephone. We will pay for returns if we decide to collect the item. We will not replace or refund after ten working days of receipt. Wrong item sent. If we have sent you the wrong item (example wrong model) then please notify us within seven working days of receipt. We will pay for the FASTEST delivery to replace items and will also pay for the return of the wrong item. Disputes that fall outside of the ten day claim limit. If you have bought our clapperboards and you disagree with our terms and conditions which follow the sale of goods act 2000 then you have two further actions. 1) If you spent over £100 with us (but not more than £30,0000) and you paid by credit card then your credit card company is liable along with us for any misrepresentation or breach of contract. 2) You can take us to the small claims court if you have spent less than £5000 but you must send a a "letter before action" saying that you give one last chance to settle. Final note from Richard. To all our customers we hope that every time you place an order with us that its both fair to you and fair to us. We are a small company and appreciate the ability to be able to deal quickly with disputes. The above laws are there to protect both of us. But there is an element of goodwill on both sides. To date I can honestly say that when things have gone wrong (and they do go wrong!) we act quickly to resolve them. But we've also been burned by people who have bought clapperboards then two months later expect to send it back and for us to pick up the postage tab both ways. And that's not fair because it means the cost of dealing with people like that have to be factored into the final sale price that you pay. Our foundation is based on long term repeat business so these rules about postage, refunds and returns should keep things on an even keel. Thanks for reading. Richard.
